Virtual Book Tour: WHY WORK SUCKS AND HOW TO FIX IT

Why Work Sucks and How to Fix It is now in bookstores.  We’ve been hearing lots of stories about how the book is being sent anonymously to managers, and is the subject of leadership meetings in companies.  This is great news!

The second teleseminar as part of our virtual book tour is on Tuesday, 6/24, and we want you to join us!  For more information and to register for the [FREE!] call on 6/24, please go to: www.authorteleseminars.com/whyworksucks2.html

We are thrilled to be joined on the call by three guests:

  • Dan Pink, author of The Adventures of Johnny Bunko: The Last Career Guide You’ll Ever Need, A Whole New Mind: Why Right-Brainers Will Rule the Future, and Free Agent Nation: The Future of Working For Yourself
  • Jason Alba, CEO of JibberJobber.com and author of I’m on Facebook, Now What? and I’m on Linked In, Now What?
  • Scott Stratten, HR professor for Sheridan College, online marketing expert, and author of Thank Goodness It’s Monday

Can’t make the live call?  Register anyway, and you’ll gain access to the recording.

See you on Tuesday!

Saw your little discussion with the economist on CNN- You put her in the dust. Thought you rocked! It was a fresh air to my ears to hear finally get a professionally opinion that isn’t afraid to innovate. My ex boss discussed with me about about work ethics and gave me advice. I was a a straight arrow rule keep and the policy was the law. But convinced me in order to get ahead in life wasn’t not to cheat, steal or be a bad persona but in a a way bend it ;). Thanks to my current supervisor I am currently still with my company despite my supervisors bosses and point of views (traditional). It can be like a prison there with all of the stupid I mean ridiculous (count how many steps you take) rules that they focus on them 24/7 instead blinding them from making more money in the long run by focusing on attitude. Example the same company gave each member a $100 bonus for making money but it only lasted a week of ya this is a great company. I agree with you 100% bcs it helps me have a better attitude , new perspective and Im not as afraid to try something new and be a little creative and add a little me to my work. I Looking forward into reading that book!

So sorry I missed this call. Please let me know when there will be another.

I worship Daniel Pink! His book, A Whole New Mind has created for me and the people I coach a whole new revolution in thinking.
